Measuring Venetian Blinds

First, determine whether the blind is to be installed inside or outside the recess.

Make sure that you do not deduct from your measurements. For inside recess mounting, 12 mm are deducted automatically from your specified width.

A total overlay of 75 mm on both width and drop is also recommended for outside recess mounting.

Make sure that all sizes are recorded to the nearest millimeter, measure both width and drop of the recess in more than one place, always making sure you state the closest calculations.

Use only a steel tape measure and take notice of any protrusions in the mounting area.
