Measuring Roller Blinds

Use a steel tape measure to determine sizes.

Measure the window in several places and provide the smallest measurements in mm for both width and drop.

When deciding on mounting inside or outside recess, ensure that there are no obtruding objects (window catches, electrical sockets, tiles etc.) to hinder the operation of the blind.

NOTE:The total width of the blind is composed of fabric size plus the size of the brackets:

Spring operation: 38 mm

Chain operation: 25-35mm depending on blind width and chosen fabric.

INSIDE RECESS mounting

- we will deduct 3mm from the provided measurements to ensure the blind with the controls and brackets will fit the recess.

OUTSIDE RECESS mounting

- we will manufacture the blind in the exact provided measurements from one bracket to another: cloth size + brackets and control size.

Note:

For outside recess ensure the blind overlaps on both sides to ensure efficient light blocking, especially for blackout fabric blinds.

For roller blinds which exceed 1900 mm in width or 2800 mm in drop, the blinds may feature a joint in the fabric.
